Euro, Commonwealth. English Title Round-Up
Published July 9, 2009 by Boxing Capital
We’ve already taken a look at the British Title news, so let’s round up the best of the rest of the Domestic title action....
Undeterred by his first defeat, young Scot Paul Appleby will challenge for the European Featherweight Champion Oleg Yefimourich. The task will be made even harder by the fact Appleby must travel to Yefimourich’s homeland in Ukraine; the contest is set for October 3rd.
Jamie Moore has a less daunting task when he makes the second defence of his European Light Middleweight Title against Frenchman Jimmy Colas in Moore’s hometown of Manchester on July 24th.
There’s a lack of new Commonwealth Title news this month other than John O’Donnell being called to defend against Ghana’s Philip Kotey. Purse bids for that contest must be received by 7th August with the contest taking place before the end of the year.
We already know about the Matthew Hall-Anthony Small (Light Middleweight) and Nathan Cleverly-Danny McIntosh (Light Heavyweight) title clashes that take place later this month.

Appleby looks like he has a tough night in store there, travelling to the Ukraine won't be easy.
