Bring Back Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour!

The campaign to bring back Steve Bunce’s Boxing Hour shows no sign of slowing down, as many luminaries of the boxing world continue to add weight to the ‘Bring Back Bunce!’ campaign.

The demise of Setanta in the UK saw boxing fans lose a valuable amount of boxing coverage as Setanta had exclusive deals with Top Rank and Hayemaker. But, rather than petitioning for those promotional heavyweights to get deals elsewhere, boxing fans want only want one thing – Steve Bunce back on their TV screens!

Bunce hosted what was something of a landmark in British boxing TV coverage – a highly informed, weekly, one hour long show, which kept boxing fans across the country informed about all that was going on in the boxing world, as well as having regular studio guests, including former world champion Chris Eubank, current world champion Carl Froch and Olympic Champion James Degale.

Setanta’s collapse has left Steve Bunce and his sidekick, Andy Kerr, without a show! The petition to get Bunce back on TV has gained incredible pace with boxing greats such as George Foreman and Don King lending their support in addition to figures such as MP David Blunkett!

It’s amazing that Bunce has achieved such wide reaching support throughout the globe and even some outside of the boxing fraternity.

Now, I realise Bunce’s style means he’s not everyone favourite but regardless of that I urge you to support this campaign! Love him or hate him, Buncey is fantastic for boxing!  Support the campaign online here and check out some of the best bits from the show in the video below.
