Boxing Capital - An Apology.....

A Sincere Apology

So....where have we been we hear you say? A few months ago (exactly five to be precise), a whole host of our loyal and regular followers would log on to our site daily to get a dose of boxing action from our team.

But then, one day, it just stopped. Suddenly. Just written silence and nothing else. No updates. No announcements. No nothing.

For that, we are truly sorry. It certainly wasn’t a planned disappearance. Or in fact, it wasn’t really a disappearance at all. To be 100% honest, personal circumstances took over and a serious family members illness saw hours of boxing writing replaced by hours waiting beside hospitals beds. But one day very recently that waiting at the hospital ended – unfortunately in the most tragic and painful fashion possible.

So, please accept my apologies for our absence, our silence and our total lack of updates. It’s been a time where priorities simply had to be realigned and we hope everyone can understand that.

There have been thousands and thousands of emails received in that time from loyal website readers, potential advertisers and avid boxing fans – I’d like to express my sincere apologies again that those messages were not returned. Rest assured, those messages will be returned in the near future as we re-group and re-focus on this exciting project we embarked on over 12 months ago.

The World Goes On...

And of course, despite whatever is going on in someone person’s life – life goes on....and certainly the boxing world hasn’t stopped!

The past five months have seen some incredible action with just some of the highlights being the start of the ‘Super Six’, Pacquiao’s march continuing through the weight divisions, Mayweather’s majestic return, Kevin Mitchell’s coming of age, Amir Khan’s defection from Frank Warren, even Audley Harrison’s Prizefighter success - and so much more!

So, to sum it all up, we’ve been away in very unfortunate circumstances, but now we’re back! It’s going to be a steady process over the next few weeks of re-grouping our team and planning our new and improved assault on the world of online boxing coverage.

Any Ideas?

We’ve got our web design team making tweaks to the visuals (keep your eyes posted on these pages) but it’s the Boxing Capital team that will be making improvements to the content – going forward expect more quantity and more quality.

Have you got an idea for something you’d like to see on the site? Let us know! If we like you’re idea then we will bring it to reality. All ideas should be sent to info@boxingcapital.com

Like UFC Too?

Ok, we know many claim that UFC will be the sport that kills boxing’s popularity but I do believe that both sports co-exist. And to be honest, whilst it feels like I’m cheating on my beloved sport of boxing, I cannot help but like the UFC!

The action is superb and the competitive fights make it so very exciting. As a result, we’re considering the idea of including UFC action on the site – good idea? Bad idea? Let us know what you think!! info@boxingcapital.com

Stay tuned people for new and improved Boxing Capital. We’re sorry we’ve been away but we’re hoping you’re glad to see us back.

Yours in boxing.

The Boxing Capital Team
